Buyer's notes
Target Price team says:
It’s difficult not to wax lyrical about the Honda CR-V because it’s such a good all-rounder, with very few flaws. It’s not perfect by any means, but it does everything an urban-dwelling 4x4 is supposed to do very well indeed, the only significant downfall being its limited off road ability. So, if you do a lot of all-terrain driving you might be better served elsewhere, but otherwise the Honda makes a compelling case.
The diesel engine in particular is exceptional; it’s smooth, frugal and performs strongly. The petrol isn’t bad either, though it’s not as effortless at overtaking.
All models provide a sharp drive and comfortable ride, and all come equipped with stability control, six airbags and active head restraints. There’s plenty of space for five and their luggage, too. Entry level models get air con but, as usual, more desirable options like alloys are higher up the range.
